01 · Challenges

Where teams get stuck

  • Operations scattered across spreadsheets and disconnected tools
  • An ERP that was implemented but never fitted, so the team works around it
  • Manual re-entry between sales, inventory and accounting
  • Reports that take days to assemble and are stale on arrival
  • License costs growing while half the modules go unused
  • A previous implementation partner who disappeared after go-live

02 · Our solution

How we solve it

ERP projects fail on process fit, not on software. We start with how your purchasing, inventory, sales and accounting actually work, then configure the platform to match, customizing only where your process is genuinely different and integrating the systems you keep. The result is one source of truth your team actually uses.

What's included

  • Implementation and configuration mapped to your real workflows
  • Custom modules, reports and dashboards beyond what ships in the box
  • Integrations with your existing systems: accounting, e-commerce, CRM, WMS, payroll
  • Data migration from spreadsheets or legacy ERPs with validation, not guesswork
  • Training, documentation and post-go-live support for your team

04 · Process

How the engagement runs

01

Process mapping

We sit with the people who run purchasing, inventory, accounts and sales, and document how work actually flows before touching the ERP.

02

Fit and configure

Standard features first, customization only where your process is genuinely different. Every customization we write is documented and upgrade-safe.

03

Migrate and integrate

Master data and open transactions move over with validation runs; the ERP connects to the systems that stay.

04

Go live and support

Phased rollout by department, hands-on training, and support that stays past the first month-end close.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

ERP customization is adapting an ERP platform such as ERPNext, Odoo or SAP Business One to match your business processes: configuring modules, building custom fields, workflows, reports and apps, and integrating the ERP with the other systems you run. Done well, it means the software fits the business instead of the business bending to the software.

It depends on size, budget and process complexity. ERPNext is fully open source with no per-user license cost and suits SMEs that want ownership. Odoo has the largest app ecosystem and a polished UX, with licensing that grows per user. SAP Business One fits companies that need its ecosystem or are already committed to it. We advise honestly per case, we implement all three, so we have no license to sell you.

A focused single-company implementation on ERPNext or Odoo typically runs 8 to 16 weeks including migration and training. Multi-entity setups, heavy customization or SAP projects run longer. We phase rollouts by department, so parts of the business go live early instead of waiting for one big-bang date.

Yes, rescue and extension work is a large share of what we do: un-fitting customizations, broken upgrades, missing integrations or a partner who vanished after go-live. We audit what exists, stabilise it, and then improve it incrementally rather than proposing a re-implementation by default.

Not if they're built right. On ERPNext and Odoo we build custom logic in separate apps and modules using the platform's extension points, never by patching core code, so version upgrades stay routine. Every customization ships documented, and we test upgrades in a staging environment before they touch production.
